BFA Art Practice
The Bachelor of Fine Arts is a 4-year professional art degree that emphasizes the development of creative practice toward applications in contemporary art. Students begin with an interdisciplinary foundation year engaging in 2D, 3D, and 4D processes. During the second and third years, students designate areas of concentration that include painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture, fashion/textiles, video, photography, and social practice. The final year of the program centers around professional development and the exhibition of BFA thesis work in the JSMA Museum of Art.

BA/BS
Art & Design
The BA/BS in Art & Design is a liberal arts degree that allows for thoughtful intersections of creative practice with other areas of study. Students gain a foundation in ideation, digital tools, and visual literacy while sampling elective coursework from Art and Design studio offerings. This degree is a good option for students looking to engage in specific techniques, rather than a comprehensive professional degree.
